ACT worked with doctoral student Christopher Ali a couple of years ago as he did research for his dissertation. Recently, he sent it to us. Mary Cardona and the Wisconsin Community Media Group, have put together a terrific resource Community Media District 7 Talking Points it makes the case for the CAP Act and why it’s important to Congressional District 7. It includes the channels in the District and contact information. Please look it over and consider creating this kind of resource for your Congressional District.
We also filed a separate set of Comments to the Missouri Public Service Commission in coordination with the Missouri Municipal League. These comments focus on Charter charging municipalities for cable service to municipal buildings, senior centers, police and fired departments.
